Ammonite: Dragon scale?
Ammonite or Ammolite is a rather new gemstone used in jewellery. It stroke me with it's multicoloured stripy look, just like… a dragon scale? Seriously, bright reds, yellows and greens make me think Rawwr! And it's not really that far from reality!
Ammolite gemstone is actually made of fossilized shells of extinct marine creatures ammonites (click links for wiki info). So… why not to pretend it's a fossilized dragon? Haha!
And yes, how could I have resisted having a ring made with a dragon scale? (Even if pretending so, haha). Obviously, I couldn't, haha! Let's imagine I have a piece of that missing scale from Smaug the Stupendous, with mysterious Benedict Cumberbatch's voice… Erm, sorry, shouldn't let imagination that far, hahaha.
So yeah, Dovakhin, Dovaknin!
Have a great day and "don't be shy, step into the light". I mean seriously, don't be shy and wear some dragon accessories, haha!
Till later and DFTBA!
